Do you have a penchant for punishment? Good news then, Namco Bandai has announced that Dark Souls II will be making its way to Xbox 360 on March 14 2014.
The studio has also detailed the special editions of the game; which includes a copy of the game, a “premium quality” figurine of the Warrior Knight, a full-colour cloth map of the world of Dark Souls II, and a hardback art book filled with images and concept art from the team at From Software. The package also includes a copy of the official soundtrack composed by Motoi Sakuraba.
The collectors Edition will cost £89.99 in the UK, though we are still awaiting word on international pricing. If you’re short on cash, or busy saving up for an Xbox One, Namco will also be releasing the Black Armour Edition, which will include a special steel case for the game and the soundtrack – this should be made available to everyone who pre-orders from participating retailers.
Dark Souls II will hit UK and European shelves on March 14, while our pals over in the US will receive it a few days earlier on the 11.
Be sure to look out for a hands-on preview in an up-coming issue of X360 magazine.
